bollocks - the answer is apple crumble bastardised with sultanas - the American lady with a black hair and a "trendy" red streak said that it was apple crumble. Since I hadn;t heard of this before I asked her how she knew and she told me that the two most kind, forthright, gentle and handsome english gentlemen with fantastic intellectual minds had kindly and not demeaningly told her that it was an English delicacy.
